Harry could tell immediately that something was up with her - he'd been noticing it more and more every time she came to visit him. He'd put it down to her just being frustrated that they couldn't do anything about his situation, but he'd overheard his share of gossip - not a lot, since people knew he was there, but enough to give him a few ideas about what might be on her mind.

What he still hadn't decided, however, was whether or not he should mention it - it seemed like the kind of thing Mal might want to talk about, with someone, but he just wasn't sure if she'd want that someone to be him.

"Hey," he commented, watching her for a moment before deciding to get the difficult part over with "Any ideas for today, or are we just here for a wee chat?"
