Dick stared at him for a moment, trying to figure out what on earth was going on with this other version of him. Then it clicked.

"The titans?" he guessed "He's... oh, you've got me mid falling-out, haven't you? Just when I became Nightwing right at the beginning..." things had been a little complicated back then, and he probably hadn't really given Jason the time of day, not until it happened.

"Yea, I guess you're right... " He itched to try and find a way to repair that relationship without the other version of him having to lose Jason, but his guest was right, there was no point trying to mend any bridges when he couldn't get Jason back to those bridges. It was weird, though, like he'd come from the past, but not at the same time, and Dick had to bite back the urge to try and tell him what was coming, to warn him somehow - but he had no idea if that would even happen for Jason the way it did for the one in this world.

"We'll give Timmy a call, he's always good at the research, and Babs too," he decided "And Clark, like I said."
