She'd spent a lot of time alone through no will of her own. She knew how much little things could matter. She nodded a little in agreement. They'd pick out some candy for him and have the store ship it to him or something. Maybe it'd make his day a little better or remind him that he wasn't alone.

Ava couldn't help but laugh at Peter's self-deprication. She shook her head at him as her laugh faded into a smile. "Well, not everyone can be as cool as me," she agreed. "I think he's alright though." Her voice dipped a little in volume so that it was almost a whisper. "Spider-man is awesome and all, but he's got nothing on Peter Parker."
