The grin widened just slightly at the almost flirtation in return, she was always pleased whenever she got that reaction out of Patty, though she always wanted more.
"Sure I can think of something that you haven't seen before," she replied, voice low, leaving absolutely no doubt just what she was thinking about, and it didn't have anything to do with ghosts. She was watching Patty carefully, like she was waiting for a different reaction to usual, wondering how far she could push before it was too much.

Her brow arched, though the smile was still very much in evidence, "Because I can tell you, since I started working with you people I have seen some shit, and I know I ain't seen everything, but I can't even think of things I haven't seen."

"Oh really?" Holtzmann answered, eyes glittering with delight "You can't think of anything you haven't seen?"
"Maybe you should come back to my place, I can show you some things." admittedly, this was Holtzmann, so that could easily include bizarre inventions or unexpected science experiments, but her tone of voice and expression made it very clear that wasn't what she meant. Probably.

Both brows lifted at the invitation, and being who she was, and knowing what she knew about the other woman, she asked: "You got some kind of catapult toaster oven you want to show me?"
So sorry for the delay!
"Aw yea," Holtz's eyes lit up at the reminder and she grins delightedly "That was awesome."
"No, that's not what I mean," she winked, "though I did make one of those once, it was glorious... a little violent, had butter on the walls for weeks, but glorious."
No worries, I was on vacation, been catching up on everything
"And shoot, butter's easy to clean up, even off the walls. Fifty-fifty goo gone and water, spray bottle, spritz it on, let it sit for a few minutes, hot water mop and you're done."
Hope you had a good vacation!
"I'm pretty sure it's still around the kitchen somewhere, maybe I'll show you that too," Holtz offers with a grin "but you're cleaning up the butter." As far as she was concerned that was a fair trade, but mostly she just didn't want to clean up the butter herself.
"So. You're coming, right?" she adds, gaze suddenly serious. It wasn't often she invited anybody else into her own space and honestly, all joking aside she was a little bit nervous about what Patty would think of it. Maybe she should clean up some before Patty came over.
I did, and now I'm almost done with the post-vacation crud
And then another easy smile, "And I'll take your word on the catapult, don't actually need to see something like that in action."
