Usually there's spares to replace it immediately, but he's seen it happen when there hasn't been, and he can see that's the same as what's now happened with his shirts.
"After breakfast, please, I'm hungry now." He says - he's still a little shy about stating his preferences, still hesitates as though waiting to be told he's made the wrong choice, but he's getting better at actually saying it, at least.
"But... you are supposed to be dressed for meals, yes? What will I wear until the laundry is done?"
