Xie glances over at Kevin, following his gaze to Costain and raising an eyebrow. He recognises that look - he's worn it enough himself - and he smirks at the other man before turning back to Lisa.
"You should come and play chess with me sometime, see if you're as good as he says." He tells her smoothly - he's not trying to make friends, or get on her good side, he really isn't. He's purely doing it to fuck with Costain at this point.
(The fact that, actually, he'd probably quite enjoy chess against a good opponent, is neither here nor there)
