Had he been that obvious? Apparently. He's still grateful.
He listens quietly to the story - he's gotten to know Kevin well enough to know that there's a reason he's telling it, that he's not just... bragging about how much better his life was when he was 14.
"What did they do?" He asks softly.
It's funny, really, when he was younger he wouldn't have believed anybody who told him being rich and comfortable didn't always mean you were happy - now he knows first hand how true it can be.
