Kevin goes to the bedroom first to undress and grab a towel, leaving his warrant card and pendant on the dresser as he goes in.
He doesn't take too long either, mostly because he knows he has a pot on the boil downstairs, so he goes straight down in a towel while Xie is still rearranging drawers.
