"I have. I plead guilty, I don't deny what I've done. I'm working with you all now because it's part of my sentence." He pauses, smiles faintly ruefully and then adds "I want to, as well, I want to help people the way you do, make amends for my past."
He looks down, thinks about the conversation he had with Kevin, back near the beginning of their relationship.
