Xie is a little surprised at the size of it as well, but he at least has a little knowledge about how much time Kevin has spent undercover, and suspects that's got something to do with it.
He knows that the London stuff is probably where they'll find answers, if there are to be found, but since Kevin is already looking at that he finds himself poking around the rest of the place, trying to find the things that speak of who Kevin is - partly for his own curiosity, partly to help Kevin unlock some of his own missing knowledge.
