Xie waves away the apology, leading him back upstairs to the bed - he doesn't let go of his hand, and unless Kevin pulls away he keeps hold of it until they get up to the bedroom.
Then he lets go in favour of climbing back under the covers and curling up - Kevin can sort himself out from this point, his work here is done.
