Ava pressed her lips together. It was sad and she'd never thought of it from that angle. She'd spent a good deal of her childhood alone, but not because she didn't trust herself. She took a sharp breath then exhaled. "Maybe we'll have to send him some candy. You know, like a care package." That wouldn't fix anything she knew and it was probably weirder than it was anything. She bumped Peter's shoulder with her own. "You know who I am glad isn't a hermit? Spider-man 'cause I know personally that he's a pretty cool guy. In and out of the suit." She was trying to lighten the mood, and maybe confess a little bit of the crush she had on Peter.
Far too melancholy. She was clearly enjoying the whole hand holding thing as well because she wasn't giving him his hand back, not just yet. Maybe not for a while. She laughed at his declared intention. "What are we starting with? I'm a freak for jelly bellies and chocolate covered espresso beans."
