Yesterday, Tony thought university was awesome. Yesterday, university was the best thing ever. He'd been to parties, he'd made friends, he'd been living the high life and nobody cared that he was majoring in science or that he was younger than all of them or any of the other reasons that high school assholes had used to justify their best efforts to make his life hell, and everything was good.
Then he'd gone to a party and paid for the booze and then unceremoniously kicked out because they just wanted the free alcohol without having to party with a kid, Stark or not.
So he'd anonymously called the cops on them, got them raided and taken his bitter satisfaction to a bar who refused to serve him, then to another bar who refused to serve him, then to an off licence who refused to serve him, then finally to the library, because it was open all night and he didn't feel like going back to his dorm room just yet.
A fascinating book on robotics later and it was morning, he was tired and hungry and still kind of pissed off, so he finally stumbled back to the dorm room, the door banging as he flung it open in his irritation, not even thinking about the fact that his roommate might actually still be there and not awake yet.
"University sucks," he announced to the room at large, whether his roommate was there or not, and fell face first onto his bed.

Having been studying his notes late into the night he didn't have class - thank God- until noon. Assuming he would be able to sleep in his rest got rudely disturbed by a non-caring Tony. Almost in shock Peter ended up jumping up and sticking himself to his ceiling. Now that would have been awkward to explain. Luckily all that happened was him sitting up straight, heart racing.
"Sleep. People sleep." He uselessly grumbled, voice thick with sleep.

Twisting his head, he finally got a good look at his roommate. This was almost tying with the longest conversation they'd actually managed to have so far, and he couldn't help but wonder why he hadn't run into the guy yet - after all, he'd been to almost every party going since they got here, and he hadn't yet quite come to terms with the idea that someone might go to college and not go to any parties.
"Good night?" he asked almost bitterly, noting that Peter looked just about as shattered as he felt.

"Why didn't you go out or something?" he asked. He had actually been planning on letting Peter go back to sleep, after all he was pretty tired himself, but he was just curious. He knew why he hadn't been at a party, but had Peter actually voluntarily stayed in with his books?
