[Perfect! Spoilers won't be an issue, then. Slight fudging of the end and Jason's looking for Bucky because that news report didn't quite fit right to him?]

Jason had been searching for Bucky ever since the news reports on the UN bombing aired. After the months they lived together, the idea of Bucky doing something like that willingly was absurd. Either the older man had been framed or someone, probably Hydra, had gotten to him. So he'd asked Barbara to research the incident, told Bruce he had some personal business to take care of, and flown to Eastern Europe.

There was no point looking near the bombing. No self-respecting assassin or terrorist would stay near the sight of the crime. And no innocent man would linger where he could be permanently disappeared. So Jason started his search in Russia. It was in Moscow that he caught a glimpse of longish, brown hair and a familiar build. "Yasha? Is that you?" The Russian was somewhat accented but understandable.

Bucky's reaction was to tense immediately at the sound of american-accented Russian, searching for escape routes practically on instinct and a second away from just bolting into a run regardless of who was behind him, but he forced himself to take stock of the situation in a nearby shop window, scanning the reflected crowd for whoever had spoke, there was something familiar about the voice that he hadn't quite been able to place.

When he spotted Jason, some of the tension eased slightly, and he turned slowly to face the other man - although it was clear from his posture that he was still ready to bolt if he needed to.

"What are you doing in Russia?" was his first question, the most important as far as he was concerned.

"What am I doing in Russia? What do you think I'm doing in Russia?" Jason sighed. Really, there was only one reason he'd come to somewhere like Russia. "I'm looking for your reckless ass."

"Looking for me?" Bucky repeated, and there was that tension again, slipping back in. Plenty of people were looking for him right now, most of them for very bad reasons. He didn't think Jason would be here to take him in, but he also couldn't be too careful.

"What for?"

"Saw the news report." Anyone raised by Bruce Wayne knew enough to keep up with the news, both what the public saw and what stayed behind closed doors. "Figured you might be in trouble."

"Trouble, me?" Bucky commented dryly, gaze flicking around the crowd periodically, it wouldn't be a good idea to get so caught up in this conversation that he'd miss anybody creeping up on him.

"...Do you think I did it?" he asked, briefly zeroing in on Jason. Was he here because he figured Bucky was out of control (or, more accurately, in it again), or because he genuinely wanted to help Bucky lay low from the people who did think that?
