He took an experimental sip of his own drink, the strength of it making him cough slightly (oh, very smooth Tony, good going). While he was embarrassed at his own reaction, he didn't want to make himself look worse by adding more mixer, so instead he took another sip, this time fighting back the cough.
"Yea? Would've thought a pretty girl like you would have had a great time at high school." he said conversationally.
